“Glory Bee!” – clay potted red geranium featuring dimensional petals and leaves. An all-hand stitching project suitable for ALL skill levels, beginner through experienced. Project is mostly completed in the class time. Students learn basic wool applique stitches, how to stitch Kathy’s method of “flat stitching”, how to work with freezer paper patterns, and how to manipulate the wool and stitch dimensional petals and leaves. Instructor Kathy Gaul is the owner/designer of Meetinghouse Hill Designs, LLC and creates all the artwork and patterns herself. Kathy has been designing, stitching, publishing and marketing her line of patterns since April 2009, celebrating 10 years in business in 2019. Meetinghouse Hill Designs offers over 50 unique patterns for wool appliqué. The company produces lines of rug hooking canvases and punch needle patterns as well. Cost of Kit is $84.53, (includes tax), which is payable directly to the instructor on the day of the class. Checks should be made out to Meetinghouse Hill Designs. Kit includes a complete pattern/instructions, hand painted bumblebee button, freezer paper, all felted wools (woven background and applique pieces that have been felted, NOT wool felt), all hand-dyed threads (Valdani). Kathy may be contacted at email@example.com. Kathy's website is www.meetinghousehilldesigns.com.
