We’ll celebrate our creativity as we discuss what makes each of us unique! American Girl “Truly Me” dolls (dolls that look like the child) will be featured. The quilt exhibition, “Small Talk” by the Art Quilt Group is the inspiration for the class. The children will learn about the arts through quilts (visual arts), music and culinary arts. Each will receive a doll sized guitar, stich a guitar strap and decorate the guitar. They will weave a friendship bracelet (Kumihimo) on a simple loom and make unique “3-D” handprints. Culinary arts? Our snacks (gluten, dairy and peanut free) will be created by each child. The children are encouraged to bring their favorite doll to class. Instructor Sheila Green
